Have you ever sat down to think about how many acts of creation are around us? Can you count how many creations of God there are? I am guessing you would lose count. While we believe and can state confidently that God created the heavens and the earth, how often have we taken the time to think about how many His works of creation are within those heavens and earth! Why hasn't the earth fallen off its axil? How does water run from the tops of mountains, down into the valleys and provide for the animals, the trees, the grass and us? Why are trees full of sap? How do birds know how to make nests? Where did the wild goats know to use the mountains for coverings? How does the sun and the moon know when the shift change takes place? Who provides the food for the young lions? Where did the idea for light for the day and darkness for rest come from? How great is the sea, that can house a boat and yet many aquatic animals?
All of these magnificent acts of creation and in depth thoughts for us were created and placed by God.
You can find all of these aspects of creation in Psalm 104, I would highly encourage you to read the chapter. David would remind us in Psalm 104:24, O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.
This is the God you serve! He is powerful, for He created all. He is organized, just look at how organized His creation is. He is involved, He never left His creation to run on it's own...He is in the current process. He is loving, because even though His perfect creation was destroyed, He set out to save it and buy it back.
Creation cost God nothing, but salvation cost Him everything!
