Going Through Difficult Times?

Have you ever wondered why God would allow hard times to come into the life of His children??
I mean, wouldn't it make more sense if God's children were safe from hard times and the wicked were the ones that dealt with trials?
To our finite minds, yes, that makes the most sense. To the infinite Savior, He has a different plan in mind.
David struggled with dark times. It seemed as though sometimes it was too much to bear. There were times that it even seemed like God was absent (Psalm 13:1 How long wilt thou forget me?), do you ever feel that way?
David learned from his hard times, and he tells us why God allows times like these in our lives.
Psalm 119:71 It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes.
Trials are good for you!
Difficulties drive us to the Word of God, if we allow them to.
You can grow so much in your trial, and when you exit your difficult time, you can truly say, like David, it was good for me!
Are you allowing God to work in you during your current trial? Are you running to the Word of God?
